thedev.dev accepts community contributions. We publish technical tutorials, infrastructure guides, homelab documentation, and developer tooling articles.

How to Submit

Contributions are submitted via GitHub pull request. This gives us version control, review history, and a familiar workflow for developers.

  1. Fork the thedev-content repository
  2. Write your post in Markdown with the required frontmatter
  3. Open a pull request
  4. We review, suggest edits if needed, and publish when ready

What We Are Looking For

  • Infrastructure and DevOps tutorials (Docker, Proxmox, networking, monitoring)
  • Developer tooling and workflow guides
  • Homelab builds and configurations
  • Security and privacy guides
  • AI and automation projects

Guidelines

  • Original content only — not published elsewhere
  • Technical accuracy matters — test your instructions
  • Include code examples where relevant
  • Screenshots and diagrams are encouraged
  • British English preferred but not required
